I am the Academic Interventionist at Bettendorf High School. I work with any individuals who need help getting their academics back on track. I love my job, am VERY passionate about the value of an education, and want my students to reach and maximize their potential so that they may find as much success in life as possible.
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in History in 2008 and with an M.A. in Teaching and Learning in 2012. Go Hawks!
These girls are the joys of my life. My wife has been an enormous supporter and loving partner in all of my endeavors. Eva is a sweet, caring, intelligent girl who is growing up too quickly! Ellie is a half-wild, rambunctions sweetheart whose energy and enthusiasm are boundless. Sophie is an adorable, joyous charmer who gets her sisters and herself into more trouble than is good for her! They all have been amazing women who show me love and bring me happiness; without them I wouldn't be who and what I am today.

As I am originally from the great state of Michigan, I have grown up as a HUGE fan of the University of Michigan atheletics programs--especially football. I bleed Maize and Blue during the football season, though I try to maintain a good sense of humor when The Team has setbacks.Feel free to talk football with me!
