Here are a few websites I find interesting. Many are just for fun, but I also include several of educational value, too!
Check back, as I will be adding to this page as I find more and more interesting or fun websites.
Free Tech For Teachers
This website is a phenominal resource for teachers, administrators, and students alike. It is written by Richard Byrne, who is a guru of integrating tech into the classroom. He finds and reviews apps, websites, programs, and more to try and finde the most useful to use in or out of class. He includes a section in most reviews about how the programs, apps, etc. can be used in education. A great first stop on the way to learning more about technology.
TweetDeck
Twitter is an amazing tool for growing your Personal Learning Network (PLN) and TweetDeck makes it even more efficacious. You can follow multiple feeds at once, including hashtags, individual accounts, and activity. A great way to take part in multiple chats going on at once: i.e. #iaedchat and #edtech.
Feedly
Feedly is an outstanding RSS reader/feeder. It allows you to input any blogs you follow, and it will notify you when new entries are added. You can also organize the blogs into multiple folders so that you can keep your personal and professional interests separate. It also has a mobile app!
